Domestic Short Hair - Sophia--in Foster - Medium - Adult
Hi, my name is Sophia. I may not look like much, but I'm asking you to believe in second chances. You see, I came to the shelter last spring in a desperate situation. I was pregnant, cold, hungry and as a result, pretty grumpy. I didn't want anything to do with anybody! I just wanted to be left alone, to have my babies in peace and quiet! The wonderful people here at Homeward Animal Shelter understood and found me a foster family. Just two days after moving into my foster home, I gave birth to my babies. Now, my babies have grown and moved on to homes of their own, but Im still with my foster family. Thanks to their care Im sporting some curves and a healthy, shiny fur coat! I wish I could grow back my ears, but sadly, it seems the cold from the winter took the very tips of them for good. I dont prefer to be held, but I love to be scratched on the cheek! I also love to play! If my foster mom forgets to play with me each day, I just go position myself next to one of my favorite toys and put my foot on it; this reminder works every time! I'm not much of a jumper, and prefer to stay close to the ground. I'm used to kids from my foster family, but really prefer the peace and quiet from adults. I currently live with several other cats in my foster home, and don't have any problems getting along with them. Will you please be my forever second chance?
